Welcome to "FCA Wrestling Camps" in Georgia:
The first FCA Wrestling Camp in Georgia was held in the summer of 2006, at the Riverside Military Academy, in Gainesville, GA. That first camp had 128 high school wrestlers and 14 coaches. Sixty-four young men, and two coaches, gave their hearts to Jesus Christ for the first time in their lives. Since that great beginning, FCA Team Wrestling Camp has become one of the fastest growing camps in the nation. We continue to offer one of the best coaching staffs anywhere in the nation, with coaches like John Azevedo (NCAA Champion, 1980 Olympic Team, head coach at Cal Poly); Mike McArthur (3x All-American, asst. coach at Oklahoma State, USA Team coaching staff); Nate Carr (3x NCAA Champion, Olympic Bronze medalist, and World Cup Champ); Jack Spates (NCAA Champ, head coach at U. of Oklahoma); John Peterson (Olympic Silver & Gold medalist, Hall of Fame Inductee); and Heath Eslinger (head coach at UT Chattanooga). The camp has grown to the point where we had 34 teams from five states, with 388 high school wrestlers and 35 coaches in the summer of 2010. Hundreds of young men have now given their hearts to Jesus Christ at camp, while many more have "re-committed" their lives to the Lord. With the great coaches we have, the tough teams that attend our camp, the great facilites we utilize, and the unbeatable price we offer, it is no suprise that the FCA Team Wrestling Camp is becoming known as "one of the best wrestling camps in America for the money"!
FCA Wrestling Camps are built upon a steadfast commitment to athletic excellence and faithfulness to God's Word. It is a serious camp, for serious wrestlers. Our coaches are tremendous at working with wrestlers at every level: from the beginner, to the most advanced olympian. And they are not only great coaches, but "great men". Every parent can be confident that our FCA Wrestling coaches will be a Godly role model for their wrestlers on the mat, and off the mat. This is because the goal of FCA Wrestling is to "build champions for the game of life".
